Overview
METHOCARBAMOL is a Schedule H drug.Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant.Methocarbamol is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain or injury.Methocarbamol is used to relax muscles and relieve pain and discomfort caused by muscle injuries. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles.

- You should not use this medication if you are allergic to methocarbamol.
- Methocarbamol may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.
- Before using methocarbamol, tell your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis.
- Take methocarbamol exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Follow the directions on your prescription label.
- Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
