Precautions

  • You should not use Ergonivine,if you are allergic to it.
  • Use ergonovine as ordered by your doctor. Caution should be exercised in patients with history of breech and abnormal fetal presentation, high blood pressure, chronic anemia, heart, liver, kidney, respiratory impairment, breastfeeding and decreased calcium in blood.
  • Monitor blood pressure, pulse and uterine response while taking this medication.
  • Avoid excess dosage.
  • Injection: Store it in refrigerator (2-8°C).
