TESTOSTERONE is a Schedule H drug.
Testosterone is used to treat low testosterone levels in men. It can worsen enlarged prostate and may increase the risk of prostate cancer. Testosterone is a prescription medication used to treat low testosterone levels (hypogonadism) in men who do not produce enough natural testosterone. It may also be used to treat delayed puberty in adolescent males. Testosterone may also be administered to women to treat certain types of cancer.

Precautions

  • This medicine can harm an unborn baby or cause birth defects. Do not use testosterone if you are pregnant or may become pregnant. Tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment. Use effective birth control while you are receiving this medicine.
  • It is not known whether testosterone passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. You should not breast-feed while using this medicine.
  • It should not be used in women.
  • Caution should be exercised in patients with history of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), cancer, high cholesterol, bleeding or blood clotting disorder, heart, liver, or kidney disease, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

TESTOSTERONE over-dosage can result in: Eyes Blurred Vision, Head Headache, Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs), Slurred Speech
