GADOBENATE DIMEGLUMINE is a Schedule H drug.Gadobenate dimeglumine is a contrast agent that produces magnetic effects. It is used in combination with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) to allow blood vessels, organs, and other non-bony tissues to be seen more clearly on the MRI or MRA. This medication is a gadolinium-based MRI contrast medium. It is also used to diagnose atherosclerosis. It produces magnetic effects.

- It may cause increased risk of Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF) in patients with acute or chronic severe kidney disease.
- Caution should be exercised in patients with severe kidney disease, heart disease, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
